Dear Tibet lovers, China has reopened recently border – the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung transit point along Nepal- Tibet (China) for foreign tourists since 1st February 2018.

China is very strict with reopening borders for tourist as the goverment of China doesn´t wish to have negetive infulence by the tourists in Tibet, the notice is also very short maximum 15 days in advance, the same is with closing border.

If you are realy interested in visiting Tibet, PLEASE DON´T HESITATE as you never know when the border will be closed again for long period of time.

Last year the border was opened only 2x after big earthquake.
