I am sure we are all grappling with the consequences after a devastating year of Covid-19 pandemic. But there are signs of things letting up. The start of vaccination program against Covid -19 pandemic has taken full swing around the world. With this breakthrough, the corona virus cases have significantly dropped globally. Nepal has also begun its vaccination program earlier this month after receiving 2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

This positive development has imbued a new sense of hope and confidence for the recovery and revival of the global economy, including tourism sector. However, it may take some time and effort for the travel industry to bounce back.

Tourism related services such as airlines, hotels, travel, tour companies are slowly opening up in Nepal to welcome tourists. Almost all international airlines from Europe and Asia are resuming their services in Nepal. In order to attract tourists and revive tourism business, the Nepalese government has put all safety precautions in place and improved quarantine facility along with simplifying visa procedures.
