Tamang Heritage trek

Regarded as the first Tibetans to arrive in Nepal, Tamang is one of the oldest indigenous peoples of the Himalayas. Their Buddhist culture and tradition are very similar to all the Himalayan communities on both sides of Tibet.

Tamang Heritage Trek takes on a trail that is both memorable and unforgettable. Our destination is Langtang which lies along the Nepal-Tibet border. What makes this trek so unique is that it is a journey into one of the most unspoiled Tamang culture because the Tamang of this region still retains, preserve, and practice the old Tibetan heritage and tradition that Tamang originally possessed.

The trek offers a beautiful Tamang heritage and tradition. Along with culture, we will also have an opportunity to appreciate the rarity and beauty of nature since much of the trail passes through dense rhododendrons and pine forests. And if you are lucky you should be able to see the Snow Leopard and Red Panda among others.

The views of the Himalayan ranges, especially the Langtang and Manaslu Ranges, along this trail, are superb, to say the least. You will be able to catch the majestic glimpses of Langtang Lirung (7245m), Manaslu, Dorje Lakpa (6989m), Paldor Peak, Ganesh, Sanzen and Jugal Himal ranges.
